Quants:

1. Get The concepts clear …by taking in any of the coaching centres like T.I.M.E , I.M.S…etc.. (for two months)

2.Practice more questions on each topics and find the shortest methods.. to solve them..

3. Every weekend take a test which covers all the topics..and find u r weakness by evaluating with the timely results..

Verbal

1. Read daily two big essays on any topic which is of ateast 100 lines in length in half an hour breaks… and target to reach 350 words per minute capability…

2.write all the words that u find it difficult to pronounce and did not understand ..and get rid of their meanings with out any delay..

3.write concisely what u have understand and also your views on the topic…

Data Interpretation

1. understand the way of representing the data i vario0us forms…

2. know how to calculate the percentages and also the fractions in a few seconds

3. practice a variety of questions…

Aussies First Innings :

At first Session of the First Day : India Dominated making Aussies 134-6 , But Symonds and Hogg Rescued Australia to reach 300 mark and some wrong descions made by umpires Bucknor and Benson has Helped to Australia to reach a Huge Total of 463. Indians remain calm as they believed that “Mistakes are made by Humans” and they did not appeal against.

Indias First Innigs

India Has fight back .. with a superb stroke play from lakshman and Brilliant all round batting from Sachin Tendulkar to take a lead of 59 runs and posted a huge total of 532…

Aussies Second Innigs

This Time Hayden and Hussey showed how the australians can come back by hitting two centuries…and Ricky Pointing has made a brave decision (others might not event think off) by setting the 333 runs…

Indias Second Innings:

The Drama and Emotion killed the true cricket here… Rickey ponting especially… behaved so differently.. that he has appealed for a grounded catch which is a bad sportsmanship …which i felt an worst appeal in the Ricky pontings career .. Even the clarke has also followed his captains way..and finally leading India to a Loss of 122 runs.. Australians celebrations suggested that they have not yet yet learnt the cricket is a gentleman’s game…. Even though they are world champions they behaved so cheaply for a single test match win …killing the spirit of the game

Bottom Line:

I got some forward mails.. which made me to feel pity for Australia…that “Its Not All About Winning The Game“…

New Rules to be formulated By ICC !!!! – Too Good

After watching the test match, some rules have to be incorporated by ICC to
give the other teams a perfect clarification

(1) Ricky Ponting – (THE TRULY GENUINE CRICKETER OF THE CRICKET ERA AND
WHOSE INTEGRITY SHOULD NOT BE DOUBTED) should be considered as the FOURTH
UMPIRE. As per the new rules, FOURTH UMPIRE decision is final and will over
ride any decisions taken by any other umpires. ON-FIELD umpires can seek the
assistance of RICKY PONTING even if he is not on the field. This rule is to
be made, so that every team should understand the importance of the FOURTH
UMPIRE
.
(2) While AUSTRALIAN TEAM is bowling, If the ball flies anywhere close to
the AUSTRALIAN FIELDER(WITHIN 5 metre distance), the batsman is to be
considered OUT irrelevant of whether the catch was taken cleanly or grassed.
Any decision for further clarification should be seeked from the FOURTH
UMPIRE. This is made to ensure that the cricket is played with SPORTIVE
SPIRIT by all the teams.

(3) While BATTING, AUSTRALIAN players will wait for the
ON-FIELD UMPIRE decisions only (even if the catch goes to the FIFTH SLIP as
the ball might not have touched the bat). Each AUSTRALIAN batsman has to be
out FOUR TIMES (minimum) before he can return to the pavilion. In case of
THE CRICKETER WITH INTEGRITY, this can be higher.

(4) UMPIRES should consider a huge bonus if an AUSTRALIAN player scores a
century. Any wrong decisions can be ignored as they will be paid huge bonus
and will receive the backing of the AUSTRALIAN team and board.

(5) All AUSTRALIAN players are eligible to keep commenting about all
players on the field and the OPPONENT TEAM should never comment as they will
be spoiling the spirit of the AUSTRALIAN team. Any comments made in any
other language are to be considered as RACIALISM only.

(6) MATCH REFREE decisions will be taken purely on the AUSTRALIAN TEAM
advices only. Player views from the other teams decisions will not be
considered for hearing. MATCH REFREES are to be given huge bonus if this
rule is implemented.

(7) NO VISITING TEAM should plan to win in AUSTRALIA. This is to ensure
that the sportive spirit of CRICKET is maintained.

(8) THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: If any bowler gets RICKY PONTING – “THE
UNDISPUTED CRICKETER WITH INTEGTIRY IN THE GAME OF CRICKET” more than twice
in a series, he will be banned for the REST OF THE SERIES. This is to ensure
that the best batsman/Captain will be played to break records and create
history in the game of CRICKET.

This weekend after finishing my office , I just thought of reading some book ….and there it is at my desk Five Point Some One . After reading it for the entire night … i felt i had just read one nice autobiography of an IIT’ian

Here comes my perspective:

Overview:

This book is all about an IIT’ian (chetan) and his four years engineering life.

AT First:

The author starts up giving introduction about him and his pals Ryan and Alok (fatso) , He narrates how they have become friends by the Ragging .He adds masala at this point to attract readers by narrating how the ragging (sexual harrass) has Taken place .

Secondly:

He Introduces us about his first semester classes , describing about the subjects and fun has happened in this each classes . He Describes about Ryan as a Hero and then Alok as a Typical poor Indian student….who always aspires to study to get good grades.. with out knowing what he is good at in his life.. Then He Introduces his love with NEHA (daughter of IIT Professor Chevron) , he narrates how he met her in the campus through his unusual morning jogging …

The First Twister:

There comes the first twist in the novel .. that is their 5 . (Five point Grades) which are considered as the Least Level in IIT , the fatso (alok) will fight with his two friends and gets separated for one year … (Typical Indian Behaviour)

The Drama:

There comes the drama again in the book , in the form of the authors Love with NEHA and how they kissed each other and how neha missed her brother samir .. After an year again the fatso joins the batch … by means of his fathers fever…. they now will drink vodka.. and booz all the night..

Innovation:

As the author always tells about ryan being his dream pal.. he tells about the adventures made by Ryan … describing his innovative thoughts of making a lipstick box and the project made by him with the help of Prof.veera … His thought about stealing the papers from the professors cabin .. etc

The Climax

Then finally he describes his big days at the college … starting with his attempt to steal keys of prof.chevron’s cubicle by luring his daughter nakedly … Then he gets caught by the professor , But managed to get the keys , using which they enter into his room at night for stealing papers and gets caught due to fatso’s phone call , Then the anti climax comes here when they were taken to disco (punishment) fatso attempts to suicide but safely falls into the fountain through which they got rid of disco and finally after the incident they all will end up as hard working students with the jobs in hand in their Usual IITians style..

My Praise:

This book is a very good one providing a deep insight into an IITians college life , it is very entertaining , so people who are trying to make a habit of Reading a Novel .. this is an good book available at www.fivepointsomeone.com

My Criticism:

1 …..The author did not tell much about him in this book …. which is an indication of his shyness… good authors are always brave as i feel …..

2… He Introduces his Romance with Neha every time .. so that it leaves a impression that it is not a biography but a fiction…

3…. He bores you at the end telling some thing which i feel not needed…

Verdict:

Nice Novel but it should be written more concisely , than it is …
